FOREIGN PROJECTS
COME Evangelists have preached around the world. In 1969 the first official project was launched: "Project Jamaica".
COME Evangelist Ed Morrell went to the island of Jamaica for two months of intensive evangelism. More than one hundred decisions were made for Christ besides many more commitments for baptism, church membership, rededication and full time Christian service.
COME Evangelists have returned to Jamaica more than thirty times since that first project and thousands have come to Christ under the preaching of the Word.
COME foreign projects have also included Trinidad and Tobago, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Cayman Islands, Antilles, Australia, Togo, Peru, Papua New Guinea, Philippians, Bangladesh, Japan, England, India, Formosa, Kenya, Hong Kong, Germany, Austria, Ghana, Israel, Canada, Malawi, Ecuador, Guyana, Brazil and many more. COME Evangelists have also taken part in many Home Mission Projects from Utah to Alaska to Florida.
COME Evangelists have worked with Baptist Mid-Missions, Baptist Church Planters, Association of Baptists for World Evangelism, Continental Baptist Missions, Evangelical Baptist Missions, Baptist International Missions and many more.
HOME PROJECTS
COME Projects have become an effective means for helping in the establishment of the mission church and in the advancement of the smaller church.COME's Evangelist becomes the Pastor's "Timothy" serving in such areas as education, encouragement and evangelism. The combined ministries of Pastor and Evangelist not only wake up lethargic churches, but also shake up the lost community. In addition, this 'iron sharpening iron' and 'stirring up the gifts within' has a profound and lasting affect upon the pastor also.
COME has received many glowing reports from pastors showing these projects to be instrumental in bringing a real heaven sent revival to their church. Many of these revived churches see increased fruit in the areas of salvation, baptism, membership and dedication. leading to a yet stronger church.
"And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together." (John 4:36).
CAMP MINISTRY
COME Missionary Evangelists can serve a 2-fold purpose at camp.
1. COME Missionary Evangelists have served in many foreign countries. This enables them to challenge people in the areas of home and foreign missions.
2. COME Missionary Evangelists provide visible, personal illustration of a Christian life lived in victory. They have seen the world from top to bottom and can inspire young people to not only become part of the army of God, defending God's church against the attacks of Satan and calling His people back to God, but also to live passionately for Him.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
COME believes Daily Vacation Bible School is one of the greatest ways to reach boys and girls for the Lord Jesus Christ before they become involved in the things of the world.
COME Evangelists have multiple talents in music, puppets, ventriloquism and gospel magic that prove to be effective in DVBS.
COME Evangelists place their primary emphasis on Bible based stories, workbooks, memory work and music with a personal application on the child's age level.
COME Evangelists invite the parents to the closing program where the children recite what they have learned through the week. The program makes the plan of salvation clear.
